Ghost Maps Release Date Moved Up (etc)
My lovely publisher (excited perhaps by the jacket copy from Ms. Crozier?) has decided to move up the release date of Ghost Maps from next February to this September.
I'm excited and alarmed. So soon! Much to do between now and printing in June. Headshots to have done (blech). Jacket copy to track down. Final copy edits. Assorted marketing stuff.
The only thing that might be tight is the cover art, which Wendy Ewell (beautiful, talented, and yet related to me) is doing based on the poem "Morning." Last time we talked about this she was still sketching, and paintings don't come from nowhere.

A big day for mail makes for a busy day writing etc. Mostly etc. Denver Quarterly got around to rejecting me, just a slip. So it's time to put the language poems into another package and send it somewhere. Hmm.
The City wrote to tell me someone nominated me for a KW Arts Award (two somebodies, actually. I only know who one of them is, so the one of you who isn't Kim needs to fess up -- Pat?) I need to put together a portfolio on that one. Local press is always good.
Also on the writing front, I have to finish Jamie's Valentine's present. Busy day.
