Anti-Monster Lullaby

James says I should write this stuff down, so here it is, the Impromptu Anti-Monster Lullaby, to be sung to the tune of "Danny Boy." I have a whole collection of these. You should hear the one that rhymes lamb/spam.

________

Oh sweetiepie, I won't let nothing eat you
I know you're scared of monsters, eels, and toads
that they will creep in with you while you're sleeping
and nibble up your elbows, ears and toes.

But you'll sleep save, cause I've sprayed monster poison
and set a beartrap in your closet door
and strung a net across your open window
and spread some glue across your bedroom floor

So go to sleep, and dream of frogs and dragons
Go to sleep, and let me hear you snore (snore snore snore)
I'll be right here for you in the morning
with scaly hides nailed to bathroom door
