First Ghost Maps tour info

News from the good publisher folks at W&W yesterday: they got a bit of extra author tour money, and they want to send me east, to Fredericktown, Charlottetown, Halifax, and St. John’s! In November! I’ve never been to that part of the world and don’t know a soul there. Should be an adventure. I’m excited about it. (Though, note to self: launch next book in, say, April.)

W&W are also arranging readings more locally here in KW, and in Toronto, Hamilton, London, Kingston, and Ottawa. I’m trying to talk them into Montreal, which I loved when I was there last year.

It's not clear to me whether this tour is in addition to the one they asked me to think about, or if they're just tired of waiting for me to think about it. (Yes, but I've been writing.) In Canada (where the funding takes me) I would like to get back to Regina, which I loved, and out to the Rain Coast for the first time.

I’m thinking of having tour tee-shirts printed. Will have more details later.

I don’t think November is all that bad in our Maritimes. I understand they get our weather just a little after us and November isn’t so bad here. So a WOW from me also without the condition!

Remember, you’re welcome to come stay on Long Island with access to NYC. Is the book going to be released in Canada only?
