Word on the Street

Good news -- I've been asked to read at Kitchener's Word on the Street, which is coming up on September 28th. I will probably read from Ghost Maps, since it will actually be in print by then (pardon me while I wiggle with joy). I don't have a time slot, but I will post it when I do.

I was selected despite the fact that I could find nothing coherent to say in my artist's statement. (I outlined my qualifications, then quoted Cather.) Does anyone out there have a good artist's statement I could use for a model?
