My sister Wendy has a new painting up on her website. It's even more amazing than her usual work.

I know she finishes lots of stuff that doesn't end up on the web -- the process of taking a good photograph then digitizing it (as I understand it) is difficult and expensive (the later on the scale of those who have crummy day jobs in order to keep energy for art). But I don't get to see the stuff she finishes, much, so to me this feels like an event. And I wish I were closer, to help her celebrate.

But I'm not. So I'm sending her whatever trickle of traffic I can. Go. View. Comment. Make an emerging artist's day.
