It's finally melting out there. I had on my hiking boots, which have been up five mountain ranges, and keep my feet toasty dry, unless the puddles are calf-deep. Which they are. But the icicles
are six feet long and lovely.

All these were taken from the bedroom window. I took off the screen and leaned out. It was complicated by the need to keep the cat from falling to his death.

Winter is no picnic: tables piled for the season at Grand River Hospital, where I work.
