Bad news for Sir G

Worst possible news, actually. Candlewick has turned my Sir Gawainedown, because they just bought a different version of the same story. Once that becomes known, I imagine it will be hard to sell my Sir G at all.

How I wish I hadn't been such a good girl about simultaneous submissions.

James has brought the nachos, but I'm not even to that stage yet.

Also I have an ear infection again. Bother.

hugs Darn whomever for copying you! I like your version better, a priori. That and I’ve read yours and it’s fabulous.

As you said, it’s a raw deal for the authors, which is why I would say “screw it.” Put it out there and tell ‘em up front. You’ve published what, two books now? You’re a little higher up the food chain, remember…

Plain Kate meets Linay was the previous entry in this blog.

Two comforts is the next entry in this blog.
