Granting Good News
Grant news, grant news, goodest of all grant news .... got an OAC Works in Progress grant. Stunned: this is the only grant I got of the ten I applied for, and it's supposed to be the tough nut -- certainly it's the juicy plum. Stunned, but pleased. Most, most pleased.
The grant is to finish Seal Up The Thunder, my book of biblical poems. (Specifically, it's to do this, though this is the essay for one of the grants I didn't get).
Enough explaining and preening. Back to the grants dance. Awaiting the boy with the champange.
