A Ghost Maps review at The Danforth Review

In case anyone out there is as obsessed with Ghost Maps as I am and therefore eager to read every scrap written about it -- which on reflection seems unlikely, but just in case -- I link to this review at The Danforth Review.

I didn’t think this was a very good review. The reviewer missed the point for the most part. And where do supermarkets ever come into Ghost Maps?

ummm — this is why, i’d guess, i seldom find reviews enlightening. his take is interesting, but so far from mine …

i think i read poetry with my gut instead of my head.

Ditto what SB wrote.

Interestingly, I just took Ghost Maps along with me last weekend to a quiet place - a good place to read poetry. I think I was thinking of my dad as I read it mostly. And my grandfather who also lost a leg but in WWI. My father is old and his memories go back to this era most of the time.

I don't usually post "memes" was the previous entry in this blog.

Today's Revelation is the next entry in this blog.
