This week's events

Two events this week -- I've been invited to read from Ghost Maps at the University of Waterloo on Remembrance Day. I'll be reading to high school students and others involved in the enrichment program Waterloo Unlimited. Tres spiffy. Thursday at 11:00 in the Davis Center fishbowl, if local folk want to sneak in.

Also coming up this weekend: the New Quarterly's galactically groovy party, Written in the Stars. I'll be reading a poem or two so that the New Quarterly can bask in the reflected glory of the Milton Acorn prize. Of course, most people will be coming to hear Michael Winter and Russell Smith, but we figured once we had them trapped in the room, they probably would put up with a little poetry.
