Unsurprising News
The NEA wrote today. Mine was **not** one of the 45 applications choosen from 1,600 received. No surprises there.
Time, perhaps, to take my similarly doomed once yearly run at the Stegner fellowships.
And time to start looking for work again. My current gig at the library is almost up (probably). I can't decide if it's less stressful to have a meaningless but stable job, or a rotating assortment of exicting but uncertain grants and fellowships. At the moment I am hedging bets by chasing both.
