Ice on the Cherry

Ice on the cherry tree, a hard sky. Yesterday it rained, then snowed. A little snow stuck. Today was the first day I was cold outside, not simply wet or chilled -- time to put the suede coat away, get out the faux fur and lavendar Lapland hat. As I write a full moon is coming up through fast, ice-fuzzed clouds.
