New Painting

My dear sister Wendy has a new painting on her site:

It's called "Indian Summer Grass."

The photograph doesn't do it justice -- the colours in it are amazing. I asked Wendy if she saw these colours or chose them in painting. (Which is the same question I got so much on Ghost Maps: how much is real? what did you make up? A deceptively simple question to which the the answer is in both cases "everything.") Wendy says "I see them."

I believe her. Grass looks like this, if you can get past the part of the brain that says "grass = green." If you can see it.
