Thunder for Sale

I should shortly have a handful of copies of Seal up the Thunder to sell, sign, and send straight to you. They are $17.50, which should just about cover the $15 book, taxes, paypal fees, and shipping. (Canadians pay in Canadian currency; US readers pay in US currency to cover the extra shipping; if you live somewhere else, please e-mail me.) These buttons take you to paypal, which takes credit cards and cheques. I’d also take Amazon.ca gift certificates, if that’s easier. Heck, I’m open to bartering for fresh eggs. Just drop me a line if paypal is not your preference.

If you don’t care to get the book directly from me, you should be able to find it or order it from any good North American bookstore. It’s already up at Amazon.com and Amazon.ca — but allow me to recommend Northwest Passages for your obscure Canuck Books needs.

It’s always a pleasure to order books directly from you, and it’s much more convenient than buying them elsewhere. I’m looking forward to this one and your chapbook as well!

So how does an Amazon.ca gift certificate work? I think that’s what I’d like to do as I am much more well-versed in Amazon than PayPal (i.e. not at all versed in the latter). Do I buy you a gift certificate, or does the transaction work some other way?

Regarding Amazon.ca gift certificates: I suppose just buy one, and let me know. Don’t forget to send your address for the book.

Okay, now for the million dollar question:

How do I buy a gift certificate at amazon.ca if my own money is in USD? Do I put the CND amount, and they change it over when they take the $ from my account? I am so inept at these things, I’m sorry.

I love the idea of buying direct from the writer. It also saves me weeks wherein I bother my local bookseller to get a copy in. I might bother them anyway. When I ordered your Ghost Maps they brought in three extra copies and sold them, so hopefully they will be moved to order some of Thunder.
