fun with a thesaurus
I hardly ever try to find a synonymn in a thesaurus: I think a good writer would rather stroll than perambulate. But it can be fascinating to see connotations laid out so plainly.

Is that it? I turned my brain around it and wouldn’t let myself use a dictionary or thesaurus trying to figure it out and didn’t, so I’m super-curious to see if pat’s the winner of the puzzle.
