Glittery Bits and Poo

My journal has deteriorated to glittery bits and poo: that is, small things I've noticed and found suggestive, and Vivian, Vivian, Vivian. The glittery bits I may put here. Don't know about the poo. Recently, I've learned:

  • One of Joan of Arc's captains, Gilles de Rais, was also the serial killer known as Bluebeard.
  • Mathematically, human beings can expect to experience about one miracle a month.
  • The tick-tock part of a clock is called the escapement.
  • Random noise the frequencies most likely to be generated by humans is called "pink noise."

And Sharon, bless her, is holding another poem dance. Go take a spin.

Vivian's lullaby was the previous entry in this blog.
