The Rhinosaur
The rhinosaur's a dinosaur that hasn't gone extinct.
Its snorkel nose snorts and blows -- it makes a terrible stink.
It lives inside the toilet bowl and only comes out to drink.
The rhinosaur's a dinosaur -- doesn't that make you think?
There are ichthysaurs in the cutlery drawer, and you can hear them clink.
And who knows what is nesting in the towels beneath the sink.

I just love your kids’ poems; when are you going to have enough to publish an illustrated collection? You’re every bit as good as Dennis Lee! James loved Lee’s books when he was young.
